Jaggarta Social Welfare Organization (JSWO) is a non-profit, non-political & non-governmental organization working for Social Development and Poverty Alleviation. The organization was initially working as non-registered body but later on it was registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (R & C) Ordinance 1961 XLVI.
JSWO is involve in the socio-economic and rural development activities, on a self-help and participatory basis, particularly in the areas of health, education, poverty alleviation, WASH, drug prevention, rural & agriculture development, disaster management and others with emphasis on child welfare, women development, human rights, environment and community mobilization.
To support, manage and implement its activities, JSWO has an active force of Development Workers engaged in community mobilization and community development activities.

To empower communities that they may solve their problems for better change in socio-economic condition and make them self-reliant.
